2020年3月3日，湖北省武汉市第一医院，江苏省人民医院支援武汉医疗队进行抵汉后首例ECMO（体外膜肺氧合，俗称“人工肺”）手术，救治一名70岁的新冠肺炎危重症患者。据悉，该医疗队从2月14日开始接管并负责武汉市第一医院重症病区。

A medical team from Jiangsu Province Hospital performs an ECMO operation on a 70-year-old patient in critical condition with the novel coronavirus in Wuhan No.1 Hospital, Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei Province, on March 3, 2020. It was the first such operation the team performed since they arrived in the city on February 14. The infected patients whom the team treated were all in serious conditions.
